Methodology

In this exercise a 40MW soft wood fired CFB unit is designed. Calculation of important parameters are done using Ergun Visual CFB and also manually.

Ergun visual CFB

It consists of items important for design of CFB as shown in the diagram below. Data are fed to each item in the menu to calculate parameters like Umf, Ut, pressure drop and so on.
